WhatsApp etiquette - Politics and Religion 2
Politics and religion are two very controversial, divisive and emotional subjects. Every person has their own view on different subjects and rarely come to a common understanding.
To minimise confusion, learn to keep off (or at least minimize) these two topics in both professional and large groups (i.e WhatsApp) where people share different opinions towards the two.
If you must address them, do so in such a way that you don't necessarily belittle your colleagues/other members who share a different opinion from yours, as this will lead to heated exchanges and worse still, members will withdraw from the group because of shifting from the purpose the group was created for.
As much as we work and live in political environments, not everyone one of us is interested in politics itself. On religion, some people prefer not to talk so much/anything about it.
It's just a matter of being sensitive to others.
We are in many political and religious forums, let's utilize those to air our views out to people who will appreciate, reciprocate and won't get offended.

Wash Wash (Money Laundering) explained
"Wash Wash" (Money Laundering) explained in layman's terms.
1. Cleansing "dirty" money.
2. Putting "dirty" money into the "clean" system
3. Making proceeds from "illegal" trade to become "legal"...
Money laundering is the process of making illegally-gained proceeds (i.e., "dirty money") appear legal (i.e., "clean"). Typically, it involves three steps: placement, layering, and integration. ... Finally, it is integrated into the financial system through additional transactions until the "dirty money" appears "clean".
Eg... You stole KES 20B (in cash) from another country. You (an events company in Kenya) purport to hold an event the most expensive hotel in Nairobi, host an international "prominent" artiste, make "entrance fee" to be ambiguous i.e charge Ksh 10k booking rates, Ksh 100k VIP rate... and Ksh 50k at the entrance.
Then..
Make as many tickets as possible, give out through radio shows while marketing the event... And of course, give many "complementary tickets" to University of Nairobi students 🤣🤣... After the event, go bank 10million... If they ask you source of your money, you show them the counterfoils of the tickets that People "purchased" to attend the "expensive event"...
Repeat the process with many other musicians and events untill all Your 20B is safe in your accounts...
I hope you understand better. 💯

WhatsApp Etiquette - Politics and Religion 1
My Take....
1. Politics and Religion are EMOTIVE
2. Politics and Religion are DIVISIVE
Not everyone in a group will share same views on the above topics...
Each group has people from different religious beliefs and backgrounds, not necessarily same as yours. Keep in mind when sending in your Bible verses that not everyone is a Christian...
Each group has people with diverse political opinions, not necessarily same as yours. Keep in mind as you send that "Baba" post that not everyone is amicus Baba...
In official and professional groups, the above subjects should be addressed with caution and better still avoided in totality.
It's important to respect group rules in order not to offend other participants who may not necessarily "Leave" the group, being official or professional (important) and may not be brave enough to ask you to stop posting political and religious posts.
It's okay to discuss political and religious topics in groups specially opened/created and meant for that purpose.
Polite reminder, not everyone likes these many "forwarded" posts. Regulate number of forwarded messages as the team members could have received the same thing from another group. Many forwarded messages could be scam which innocent members may end up clicking on links and be scammed.

Jeremiah Mauti

Men With Daughters...
1. Know that from day one, she’ll always be your little girl. But you have to put in the effort to keep it that way.
2. Don’t assume or influence what her interests will be because she’s a girl. Don’t just point out flowers and dolls. Show her cars and LEGOs, too.
3. Let her help you around the house or with your work. She’ll grow up to be a woman who feels confident stepping up in the workplace, no matter the job.
4. Talk to her mama like an equal, not an inferior, and she’ll someday expect the same.
5. Show her your sensitive side. She’ll see that if she’s sensitive, too, it doesn’t make her weak.
6. Have inside jokes or games, just between the two of you. Trust me, she’ll remember them forever.
7. Encourage her to do the things that scare her, because you’ll always have her back.
8. Make her promises, and then keep them. The only heartbreak in her life should come from others who don’t know how special she is.
9. Show her the skills that you know well.
10. Ask her to show you the skills that she knows well and you don’t.
11. Attempt to understand her interests even when you don’t. You’ll teach her that no matter what her talents are — ballet, art or wrestling with the boys— they matter.
12. This is especially true if her interests are more “girly.” Teach her that her interests are just as important no matter what they are.
13. If you wouldn’t say it to a son, don’t say it to your daughter.
14. When she comes to you with a problem, don’t brush her off or tell her to go to her mother. Listen. She’ll come back.
15. Don’t talk about her changing body, or interest in sexuality, with disgust. You’ll only teach her that she should be ashamed of it.
16. Don’t talk about other’s women’s bodies in an objectifying or demeaning way. She’s listening, and then examining her own.
17. Talk about strong women in front of her, not just strong men, and she’ll aspire to be them someday, and will know she has a chance.
18. Work stuff out with her mother in front of her. She’ll see that women deserve a voice in relationships and will look for someone who will appreciate hers.
19. Don’t joke about having a shotgun when boys come over. You’ll only teach her that you don’t trust her judgement.
20. Stand up for injustice and the oppressed. Believe the oppressed when they say they’re oppressed. You’ll show her compassion and that there’s nothing unmanly or inferior about doing what is right.
21. If you lead by example, you won’t need to scare the bad boys away. She’ll want better.
22. If there is a bad boy in the bunch, make sure you’re there if her heart should break. Chances are, it will. Make yourself available for her to turn to, and not back to him.
23. Tell her that the only person in charge of what happens to her body is her.
24. Compliment her, and her mother, often.
25. Tell her you love her. Text her about the game. Let her know that no matter what, you’ll always be there.
Important Things To Teach Your Child(ren) At Early Age
2: Avoid Getting Dressed in front of your child once he/she is 2 years old. Learn to excuse them or yourself.
3. Never allow any adult refer to your child as 'my wife' or 'my husband'
4. Whenever your child goes out to play with friends make sure you look for a way to find out what kind of play they do, because young people now sexually abuse themselves.
5. Never force your child to visit any adult he or she is not comfortable with and also be observant if your child becomes too fond of a particular adult.
6. Once a very lively child suddenly becomes withdrawn you may need to patiently ask lots of questions from your child.
7. Carefully educate your grown ups about the right values of sex . If you don't, the society will teach them the wrong values.
8: It is always advisable you go through any new Material like cartoons you just bought for them before they start seeing it themselves.
9. Ensure you activate parental controls on your cable networks and advice your friends especially those your child(ren) visit(s) often.
10. Teach your 3 year olds how to wash their private parts properly and warn them never to allow anyone touch those areas and that
includes you (remember, charity begins from home and with you).
11: Blacklist some materials/associates you think could threaten the sanity of your child (this includes music, movies and even friends and families).
12. Let your child(ren) understand the value of standing out of the
crowd.
13: Once your child complains about a particular person, don't keep quiet about it.
Take up the case and show them you can defend them.
Remember, we are either parents or parents-to-be.

General Etiquette 101
2. Return money that you have borrowed even before the other person remembers asking for it from you. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes;
3. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is giving you a lunch/dinner. If possible ask them to order their choice of food for you;
4. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ Or why don't you buy a car? For God’s sake it isn’t your problem;
5. Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a guy or a girl, senior or junior. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public;
6. If you take a taxi with a friend and he/she pays now, try paying next time;
7. Respect different shades of opinions. Remember what's 6 to you will appear 9 to someone facing you. Besides, second opinion is good for an alternative;
8. Never interrupt people talking. Allow them to pour it out. As they say, hear them all and filter them all;
9. If you tease someone, and they don’t seem to enjoy it, stop it and never do it again. It encourages one to do more and it shows how appreciative you're;
10. Say “thank you” when someone is helping you.
11. Praise publicly. Criticize privately;
12. There’s almost never a reason to comment on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look fantastic.” If they want to talk about losing weight, they will;
13. When someone shows you a photo on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You never know what’s next;
14. If a colleague tells you they have a doctors' appointment, don’t ask what it’s for, just say "I hope you’re okay". Don’t put them in the uncomfortable position of having to tell you their personal illness. If they want you to know, they'll do so without your inquisitiveness;
15. Treat the cleaner with the same respect as the CEO. Nobody is impressed at how rude you can treat someone below you but people will notice if you treat them with respect;
16. If a person is speaking directly to you, staring at your phone is rude;
17. Never give advice until you’re asked;
18. When meeting someone after a long time, unless they want to talk about it, don’t ask them their age and salary;
19. Mind your business unless anything involves you directly - just stay out of it;
20. Remove your sunglasses if you are talking to anyone in the street. It is a sign of respect. Moreso, eye contact is as important as your speech;
21. Never talk about your riches in the midst of the poor. Similarly, don't talk about your children in the midst of the barren...or talk about your spouses around those who don't have.
