WhatsApp Etiquette - Politics and Religion 1

My Take....

1. Politics and Religion are EMOTIVE

2. Politics and Religion are DIVISIVE

Not everyone in a group will share same views on the above topics...

Each group has people from different religious beliefs and backgrounds, not necessarily same as yours. Keep in mind when sending in your Bible verses that not everyone is a Christian...

Each group has people with diverse political opinions, not necessarily same as yours. Keep in mind as you send that "Baba" post that not everyone is amicus Baba...

In official and professional groups, the above subjects should be addressed with caution and better still avoided in totality.

It's important to respect group rules in order not to offend other participants who may not necessarily "Leave" the group, being official or professional (important) and may not be brave enough to ask you to stop posting political and religious posts.

It's okay to discuss political and religious topics in groups specially opened/created and meant for that purpose.

Polite reminder, not everyone likes these many "forwarded" posts. Regulate number of forwarded messages as the team members could have received the same thing from another group. Many forwarded messages could be scam which innocent members may end up clicking on links and be scammed.
